Pelin Kirca completed her undergraduate education at Bilkent University, Department of Graphic Design. Following her BFA degree, Kirca received her master's degree in design at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her first solo exhibition took place in Dirimart in 2015. Kirca attended Werner Herzog’s Rogue film school in 2016. The artist has participated in both regional and international group exhibitions. Her animated films were shown at international festivals such as Annecy Festival, Festival du Court Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand, Vienna Shorts, Encounters Film Festival, London International Animation Festival and Chicago Underground Film Festival
“One Moonless Night” was invited by Istanbul Modern to take part in the Artists’ Film International program initiated by the White Chapel Gallery in 2018.
The artist’s latest works were included in her solo exhibition “The Crowd" at Galeri Nev in March 2023, in Turkey. Kirca lives and works in Ankara.
