Pelin Kirca was born in 1982. She came to New York to study design and has been working in the city as a freelance designer ever since graduating from the School of Visual Arts with an MFA in design. Kirca also holds a BFA degree in graphic design from Bilkent University, Ankara. She divides her time between animations, short films, books, and self-generated projects. Her work has been exhibited in number of venues in USA, Turkey, Italy and Lisbon.
